Day 1 Explore a variety of handbuilding techniques with a view to embarking on personal projects.
Days 2-3 Development of personal projects.
Day 4 Free (while work is dried and biscuit-fired ready for glazing)
Day 5 (afternoon-evening) Glazing, then raku firings into the evening.
Supported hours:
Days 1-3: 9.30-12.30 & 3–5.
Day 5: from 2pm
The studio remains open at all times for you to work independently.
Course fee 280 €
to include lunch (days 1-3) and buffet supper (day5)
This course will be conducted bilingually (French and English), and you will need to have your own transport as it is non-residential.
If you wish, we can book you into a village room. Rates normally 25-50€ per night in private houses, up to around 90€ in a choice of two attractive and well-appointed chambres d’hôtes in the village.
For those on a more limited budget, a cheaper option is available in a cool and comfortable (but less private) space next to the studio – contact us for details.
